Hello! We are Craig and Elise Schumacher—owners of Midwest Memorials. A husband-and-wife team who truly care about the families we serve. We have dedicated our lives to helping others through the grief journey.

Elise is a licensed funeral director and has spent the past 14 years helping families and individuals during their most difficult time. She has a gift for helping families feel heard and supported while designing memorials that truly reflect the life and legacy of their loved one.

Craig stepped into the memorial world to support Elise and quickly found his own passion for serving families. With a diverse work background, he brings a calm, steady presence and walks alongside families through every step—from that first phone call to the final installation.

We believe creating a memorial is more than just picking out a stone—it’s about telling a story. We take our time getting to know each family and designing a memorial that’s meaningful, personal, and tells a story.

Based in the Midwest, we work with families all across Minnesota, Wisconsin, and surrounding states. We’re honored to be a small part of your healing journey—and we’re here to help however we can.
